Contacted Just-Eats customer support through their website. The representative was very polite and was clearly trying to be helpful, but was unable to tell me 1) why the app wasnt letting me log in to my account, 2) why it DID allow me to sign up for an account through the app with the EXACT SAME credentials as my pre-existing account, then allowed me to sign in to this "new" account, 3) why this duplicate account creation prompted no confirmation e-mail, 4) why, when I let the app use location services to determine my whereabouts, it output (instead of a post-code, as the app supposedly requires) simply "DUBLIN", then returned no results, and finally, 6) whether I would thus be unable to make use of the app-specific (Ireland-specific) coupons I received after buying event tix from Ticketmaster.ie.
Their website works (more or less) fine. If youre in Ireland, just use that--I got the impression a comprehensive fix on this broken piece of software is nowhere on the visible horizon. (Also, it turned out--though the rep did not seem to know this--that, despite the instructions/T&Cs explicitly saying otherwise, the Ticketmaster coupons work just fine if you input one of their codes as a "voucher code" while making an order on their website).
